Aluminum winches are designed for sailors who want lightweight, extremely strong winches with plenty of power. Winches are available in 1-, 2-, and 3-speeds, self-tailing with shaped or sandblasted grips, and standard or wide drums.

Energy-efficient motors accomplish more work per unit of electricity consumed. Motors attach to central drive shaft and drive through winch gears for two-speed mechanical advantage.
